The BIC 940 represents the culmination of many years of engineering design effort directed towards the development of a superior manual turntable equipped with automatic, multiple record playing facilities.
It's drive system utilizes a slow speed 24 pole synchronous motor, and belt drive, previously found only in fine manual turntables.
This results in significantly reduced rumble, wow and flutter.

Overall the unit is in GREAT USED Condition. I would say it's mint! The dust cover is shine and clean, no scratches, spots even NO scuffs!!
This belt drive turntable is equipped with very nice Shure M91ED Cartridge and Shure Hi Tracks stylus in mint condition! The unit provides an EXCELLENT sound!
The turntable can be operated as Automatic or Manual machine. Please be advised: Do NOT use the Automatic function on 7" 45 speed Single Vinyl Records! The unit is sizing only 12" and 10".
If you want to play Single 45 speed record USE the Manual function and move the tone arm by hand to the beginning edge of the record!!! Do not use the Automatic function because the tone arm will land on the platter!
To play Manual: Slide the knob to Manual position. Lift the tone arm with cuie shaft. Move the tone arm by hand to the vinyl record. Move the cuie shaft on down position. After the program finished the tone arm will return automatically to the home position.
To play Automatic(Only for 12" record 33 speed!): Slide the knob to Manual. Slide the knob to the desire number of records. Press the cycle button.
To stop the program any time press the Cycle button.
